Cemile Sultan Liman Hanı Historical Facade Brass-Look Lettering & Comprehensive Informational Pylons/Panels Project

We have successfully executed the end-to-end design, advanced metallurgical fabrication, and micro-precision historical installation of the facade brass-look branding letters and master informational panels for the iconic Cemile Sultan Liman Hanı in Istanbul. By respecting the cultural heritage and architectural legacy of this monumental structure, Yöntime blended luxury metal craftsmanship with non-destructive structural engineering since 1999.

Honoring Cultural Heritage Through Classical Typography and Signage Layouts
Historical landmarks and ancient commercial structures require a meticulous design ethos, ensuring that modern signage acts as a respectful enhancement rather than a disruptive overlay. For the Cemile Sultan Liman Hanı framework, our environmental graphic design studio established a classical, sophisticated typographic layout that dialogues flawlessly with the building's centuries-old stone facade. The master informational directories placed at the grand entrance guide international visitors through the history of the site with absolute graphic clarity, preserving the majestic aura of the landmark.
Advanced Metallurgy: Weatherproof Tarnish-Resistant Brass Technologies
While solid raw brass offers beautiful aesthetics, it naturally oxidizes and turns black over time when exposed to coastal humidity and urban atmospheric pollutants. To eliminate this structural degradation on the facade of Cemile Sultan Liman Hanı, Yöntime utilized high-grade anti-corrosive stainless steel substrates treated with premium PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) titanium-brass alloy overlays. These custom-cut structural letters and engraved informational master boards were coated with high-performance, UV-stabilized architectural matte varnishes baked to guarantee complete resistance against atmospheric corrosion.
Non-Destructive Structural Fastening and Zero-Tolerance Heritage Installation
Executing field installation on landmark buildings protected by cultural heritage acts demands specialized preservation protocols. To insulate the historic stone blocks and delicate ancient brick mortar from structural fractures, Yöntime's installation crews completely avoided heavy percussion drilling. Instead, mechanical anchors were micro-engineered to align perfectly within existing mortar joints (derz). Utilizing non-staining structural chemical polymers, the heavy brass-look elements were secured seamlessly, concealing all mechanical anchors behind the plates and giving the impression that the signage organically belongs to the historic architecture.
