Signage and identity markers utilized within eco-friendly public developments must move away from standard industrial typography and display a design language that exists in harmony with nature. The monumental exterior totem developed for the Baruthane Ecological District Garden serves as a highly visible urban landmark for the community, while communicating the site's green vision through natural textures and clean geometric lines. The entire design phases took local flora, natural daylight exposure, and pedestrian circulation mapping into deep consideration for optimal site placement.
Heavy-Duty Structural Metallurgy and Eco-Friendly Material Craftsmanship
Monumental structures rising in open public plazas require maximum structural safety factors to counter high overturning moments caused by dynamic wind velocities and seismic activity. The internal load-bearing truss of the totem was engineered from heavy-gauge structural steel profiles, thoroughly simulated under wind loads, and treated with a hot-dip galvanization coat to prevent atmospheric corrosion indefinitely.
