In a world-class mega rail infrastructure like Marmaray—featuring deep underground stations, subsea tunnels, and dense intermodal transport hubs—environmental graphic design transitions into a vital public safety program. During the initial industrial planning and wayfinding phase, our structural and environmental design divisions analyzed massive pedestrian commuter vectors, emergency egress paths, and distant legibility arcs. Adhering strictly to official TCDD piktograms, typography, and color management systems, we mapped out a continuous, uniform, and stress-free passenger navigation layout spanning deep platforms, mezzanine ticketing halls, turnstile clusters, and public exit plazas.
Advanced Industrial Material Engineering for Heavy Subterranean and Outdoor Stress
The internal environments of underground rail lines place exceptional atmospheric stress on materials due to continuous braking dust, severe relative humidity, and intense piston-effect wind pressures from passing trains, while exterior public squares expose assets to severe weathering. Fabricated within our advanced manufacturing infrastructure under rigid zero-tolerance metrics, the monumental outdoor pylon totems and modular indoor directional plaques utilize heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized structural steel inner skeletons, marine-grade alloys, and 100% fire-retardant (Class A1 non-combustible) composite and aluminum sheathings. Exterior surfaces received multi-layered, industrial oven-baked protective finishes, while internal electronic cavities were lined with premium IP67/IP68-rated waterproof, moisture-sealed, and vibration-resistant industrial LED arrays.
